Global Co-writing Camp

CEIPA x TOYOTA GROUP “MUSIC WAY PROJECT” to hold co-writing camp “SONG BRIDGE 2025”!

The Culture and Entertainment Industry Promotion Association (CEIPA), a general incorporated association established by five major organizations in the music industry, and TOYOYA GROUP have launched the "MUSIC WAY PROJECT" as a co-creation project to support and promote the essential globalization and sustainable growth of the Japanese music industry. As part of this project, they will hold a music production co-writing camp, "SONG BRIDGE 2025," for four days from May 18th (Sun) to May 21st (Wed).

Co-writing is a method of creating music collaboratively by multiple creators, generating new musical possibilities by sharing ideas from diverse perspectives. Originating in the music scenes of Europe and America, this production method has recently been actively adopted in Japan and Asia.

The inaugural co-writing camp of the MUSIC WAY PROJECT, "SONG BRIDGE 2025," will be held in Kyoto, a city symbolic of Japan, coinciding with the first-ever international music awards, "MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025," bringing together talented music creators from both Japan and abroad.

[Main Participating Creators]

The lineup includes Benny Sings, a Dutch singer-songwriter with global acclaim; Masa Takumi, winner of the 65th Grammy Awards and known for providing music to artists such as EXILE and DA PUMP; her0ism, who has provided music to renowned domestic and international artists such as NEWS and LISA (BLACKPINK) and has earned over 170 platinum and gold discs; EL CAPITXN, a former member of HISTORY from South Korea and currently a producer working with artists like BTS and TXT; Lil'Yukichi, a trackmaker from the hip-hop world who has provided music for artists such as KOHH, BAD HOP, and SALU; and, as a rising star, MONJOE, the vocalist of DATS and music producer behind tracks like BE:FIRST's "Milli-Billi" and Number i's "GOAT." The participants are truly an impressive group with impressive track records.
In addition to these fascinating creators, we are also planning to have additional artists from both Japan and abroad participate.

Updates on the camp will be posted on the official social media accounts of SONG BRIDGE and TOYOTA GROUP.

Please look forward to the works created at the MUSIC WAY PROJECT co-writing camp, which focuses on "developing talent" and "creating opportunities" for those who challenge the world with music, under the motto "Japanese music drives the world."
