The fifth song from the co-writing camp! Yuka releases "OUT," a tie-up song with TOYOTA, digitally.
The Culture and Entertainment Industry Promotion Association (CEIPA), a general incorporated association established by six major organizations in the music industry, and the TOYOTA GROUP have launched the "MUSIC WAY PROJECT" as a co-creation project to support and promote the essential globalization and sustainable growth of the Japanese music industry. As part of this project, "OUT" by Yuka, a work created at the second installment of the music production co-writing camp, "SONG BRIDGE Adventures 2025 winter," held in Tokyo in December 2025, was released digitally on August 12, 2026 (Wednesday). This song was partially released along with the video in March of this year as the theme song for the TOYOTA "Crown" style movie starring swimmer Rikako Ikee, and its release has been eagerly awaited by viewers.
[About Yuka's "OUT"]
Born in Okinawa and having spent her childhood in the United States and Switzerland, singer-songwriter Yuka's charm lies in the sensibilities she cultivated amidst diverse cultures. She made her major debut in 2022, and the following year's release, "Hoshizukiyo," has surpassed 400 million digital streams. Her musical style, which incorporates the appeal of both Western and Japanese music, is expanding her field of activity.
Yuka participated in the second co-writing camp, "SONG BRIDGE Adventures 2025 winter" (*), held in Tokyo in December 2025 as part of the CEIPA x TOYOTA GROUP "MUSIC WAY PROJECT" (*). At this camp, under the theme proposed by the TOYOTA GROUP to "create an image song for each of the four models of the 16th generation Crown (Crossover, Sport, Estate, and Sedan)," producer MONJOE, who works as the vocalist/songwriter for DATS and whose song Number_i "GOAT" topped various charts, as well as providing songs for BE:FIRST, SKY-HI, Superfly, and others, led a co-writing session with producers such as Kyosuke Matsumoto (KYOSK), who has provided songs such as composing and sound producing for Yuya Tegoshi's solo debut "Cinnamon," and has also achieved many accomplishments with his own instrumental works, and D3adStock, an artist and top liner who has provided songs such as Tade Dust's "Life Goes On," which has been viewed over 1 million times on YouTube, and was selected as a finalist in ABEMA TV's "Rap Star 2024," to write the song "OUT." With a melody that evokes the exhilarating feeling of a pleasant drive, this song expresses a desire to break free from past weaknesses, resulting in a dignified and hopeful piece.

[About the Co-writing Camp SONG BRIDGE Adventures 2025 Winter]
Co-writing is a method of creating music collaboratively by multiple creators, generating new musical possibilities by sharing ideas from diverse perspectives. Originating in the music scenes of Europe and America, this production method has recently been actively adopted in Japan and Asia.
The inaugural co-writing camp of the MUSIC WAY PROJECT, "SONG BRIDGE 2025," was held in May 2025 in Kyoto, a city symbolic of Japan, coinciding with the first-ever international music awards, "MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025." Talented music creators and artists from Japan and abroad gathered for the event. Numerous songs with the potential to become future hits were produced, and some of the participating artists' works have already been released.
The second installment, "SONG BRIDGE Adventures 2025 winter," was held in December 2025 at a studio in Tokyo. Focusing on the MUSIC WAY PROJECT's goal of "nurturing creators and artists," the camp featured four top-tier creators as central figures in the sessions, as well as inviting promising newcomer artists and creators from across Japan to participate in workshops. Through this camp, the aim is to create works that can challenge the world and support their global activities.
